I use medical grade quick setting plaster strips. Mom doesn't have to stay A decorated cast is smoothed, sanded, gessoed, & decorated for you. Prices for decorated casts vary due to time involved. A belly cast can be left in an elegant white finish or decorated many ways to match your decor. You can make it a project with the members of your labor support team or baby shower guests. Some moms let their other children decorate them. If you are wondering "Where would I put such a thing?" have no fear, You can take pictures of your newborn baby in the belly of the cast, or crawling over it, and hang the picture up. They can be hung on a wall in the "nursery" in a bedroom, in a den, just rested against a wall, or put in the garage to be pulled out and tried "on" every so often.
